elvori collects three broad categories of information: what you give us directly, what our systems observe automatically, and what limited data arrives from third parties such as payment processors. Each category exists to support a specific function of the local dating platform, and none of it is collected just to pad a marketing database.

Information you provide

When you register and build a profile, you give us an email address, a display name, your stated age range, approximate location or ZIP code, photos you choose to upload, and any preferences you select, such as distance range or the kind of connection you're looking for. If you message another member, the content of that message is stored so the conversation can be delivered and so our safety team can review it if it is reported. If you contact support, we keep the content of that request and any reply.

Information collected automatically

Like most web platforms, elvori automatically logs certain technical information: device type, browser, operating system, IP address, approximate location derived from that IP address, pages viewed, and in-product events such as sign-up completion, profile edits, likes, matches and time spent in the app. These usage events are similar to the activation and retention metrics that dating products commonly track, and we use them in aggregate to understand how the matching flow is performing rather than to build a public record of any one member.

Information from third parties

If you purchase a paid feature, our payment processor shares limited transaction information with us - confirmation that payment succeeded, the plan purchased, and a reference ID - but elvori does not receive or store your full card number. We do not purchase supplemental profile data about you from data brokers.

We use collected information to operate elvori as a local dating platform and to keep that platform usable and reasonably safe. The main purposes are listed below, and none of them involve using your profile content for purposes unrelated to the service you signed up for.

• Operating the service - creating your account, displaying your profile to other members, and rendering your local feed.
• Matching and recommendations - ranking profiles in your feed by distance, recent activity and the filters you set, such as age range or intent.
• Safety and fraud prevention - reviewing uploaded photos before they appear publicly, and investigating reports of suspicious or abusive behavior. Consistent with standard dating-industry practice, elvori relies on a mix of automated detection tools and human reviewers to act on reports, with outcomes ranging from a warning to a permanent account ban, and an appeal path for members who believe a decision was made in error.
• Customer support - responding to questions, account issues or complaints you send us.
• Service communications - sending account-related emails, such as security alerts or confirmation of a plan change. These are not optional marketing emails.
• Legal compliance - retaining and disclosing records where required by law, regulation or valid legal process.

We do not use the content of your private messages to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell message content to any outside party.

elvori uses cookies and comparable browser technologies to keep you signed in, remember basic preferences, measure site traffic and, where enabled, personalize what you see. A cookie consent banner appears on the homepage the first time you visit, letting you accept these categories or dismiss the notice; your choice is remembered on that device until you clear your browser storage.

elvori shares information only in the limited circumstances described here, and we do not sell profile content - your photos, bio or preferences - to advertisers or data brokers. Other members of elvori can see what you choose to publish to your profile, because that visibility is the basic function of a dating platform; anything you do not add to your profile stays private.

We share data with service providers who perform functions on our behalf, such as hosting the website, processing payments or sending transactional email - these providers are bound to use the data only to perform that function. We may disclose information where required to comply with a law, subpoena or other valid legal process, to enforce our Terms & Conditions, or to protect the rights, safety or property of elvori, our members or the public. If elvori is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, member information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to the commitments in this policy. We may also share information that has been aggregated or stripped of identifying detail, for example overall usage statistics, since that data no longer identifies any individual member.

You have meaningful control over your elvori account and the data attached to it. Depending on your state of residence, applicable privacy law may give you some or all of the following rights, and elvori honors these requests for every member regardless of location as a matter of practice:

elvori applies technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect member data, including encryption of data in transit, access controls limiting who inside elvori can view account information, and a photo review step before new images go live on the platform. No online service can guarantee perfect security, and we cannot promise that information you transmit to elvori will never be accessed by an unauthorized party, so you should use a strong, unique password and avoid sharing sensitive personal details in chat with people you have not met.

We retain account data for as long as your account remains active, and for a limited period afterward to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. Messages tied to a reported conversation may be retained longer to support a safety investigation.

Consistent with standard practice across the online dating industry, elvori does not conduct criminal background checks, sex-offender registry searches or government identity verification on members, and we make no representation or guarantee about any member's identity, intentions or conduct, on or off the platform. Exercise ordinary caution, meet new connections in public places, and tell a friend or family member about your plans when meeting someone for the first time.

elvori is restricted to adults aged 18 and older. By creating an account you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into the agreements covered by our Terms & Conditions. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

Accounts that we discover or reasonably suspect belong to a person under 18 are removed, along with the associated profile data, as soon as we become aware of them. If you believe a minor is using elvori, contact us immediately using the details below so we can investigate and act.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the features elvori offers, or applicable law. When we make a material change, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice inside the platform. Continuing to use elvori after an update takes effect means you accept the revised policy.
